About Wood Limited:
Since 2009, Wood Limited has been a leading specialist in the production and wholesale export of kiln-dried firewood, heat logs, and pellets for domestic and industrial use. Our timber is certified as sustainable by the Ministry of Agriculture - Forest Sector in Latvia.
Our Commitment to Sustainability:
In the 1930s, Latvia's forests covered around 24% of the land. Today, this figure has grown impressively to 42%, with 48% of this forest area classified as exploitable for sustainable use. To further enhance and protect our forests, we've implemented a comprehensive replanting scheme spanning approximately 965 hectares of tree nurseries and seed orchards. We also establish annual reforestation quotas, ensuring the long-term sustainability and preservation of our natural environment.
Woodsure Ready to Burn Certification:
Since 2023, Wood Limited has received official certification from the Woodsure Ready to Burn Scheme, closely monitored by the UK Forestry Commission. This certification assures that our firewood, briquettes, and kindling have undergone rigorous testing and are Ready To Burn certified, ready for immediate use. It reflects our commitment to responsible and eco-friendly sourcing.
Wood Limited has established long-term collaboration with clients across UK, as well as Ireland, Norway, Finland and others, providing kiln-dried logs for sale across Europe.
Timber, logs, firewood, as well as heat logs and pellets that are offered for wholesale by Wood Limited, have been responsibly sourced and hold the relevant certification, such as EN plus A1 for pellets.
